Lebanon Civil Air Patrol Sq. 307 held their meeting with a ceremony,
promotion and new cadet commander appointment on March 3, 2009. C/CMSgt.
Ben Lyon received his Mitchell award.  The ceremony was held at the
Lebanon VFW Post 23 and the award was presented by State Representative
RoseMarie Swanger.  Cadet Lyon also was promoted to C/2Lt and new cadet
commander of Squadron 307.

Lebanon Civil Air Patrol Squadron 307 went to the Lebanon, Pa. Public
Library to do their online testing.  Some of the cadets do not have
access to computers, so they took time to do their testing at the
library together with assistance from senior members.

November 14, 2009, Lebanon Civil Air Patrol Squadron 307, along with
other organizations, retrieved flags placed on veterans' graves in
Lebanon County, PA cemeteries.

The Sq. then formally retired all flags at the Lickdale American Legion
Post.    

World War 11 Veteran, Richard Doll and his wife Laura are faithful
supporters of the Sq. and show up every year for the retirement
ceremony.  The cadets invite them to their annual Dining Out banquet to
show their appreciation for his service to our country and being part of
their activities.
