PT Test On Friday, 23 April, Lt Stankovich will conduct a PT Test for those needing it. Emergency Services Academy On 24 April thru 1 May, there will be an Emergency Services Academy conducted at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station. Cost is $100 See the bulletin/announcement for details. Law Day On 30 April we have again been asked to Post Colors for Law Day. This is the day when foreign people become citizens of the United States. Gettysburg Trip On 1 May we are planning a trip to visit the Gettysburg battlefield. It’s a day trip so all you’ll need is money for lunch and souvenirs. TIME: 0800 at VFW Uniform is Civvies WITH ORANGE HAT POC is Capt Ballester at 272-7519 or wilson.ballester@verizon.net
Armed Forces Day On 15 May Armed Forces Day will be celebrated throughout the United States. We have been invited to participate in the one on City Island in Harrisburg. TIME: 1000 @ VFW Uniform is BDU POC is Capt Ballester at 272-7519 or wilson.ballester@verizon.net
Flags to Veterans’ Graves On 22 May we will place flags on the graves of our Lebanon County veterans. This is a short project and won’t take more than a couple hours followed by lunch. TIME: 0900 at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery Uniform is BDU POC is Capt Ballester at 272-7519 or wilson.ballester@verizon.net Massing of the Colors On 30 May we will participate in the Massing of the Colors at the Indiantown Gap national Cemetery. We will participate along with VFW Posts and American Legion Posts from eastern Pennsylvania. TIME: 0745 at VFW Uniform is BDU (Color Guard will be in Class A). All squadron members are expected to participate unless excused by Capt Ballester. Amateur Radio Kids Day On 19 June we will participate in Kids’ Day sponsored by the Lebanon County Community Amateur Radio Club. There will be fun, food, educational info, hands-on things and we can do some recruiting.
